Therapy for when fitting in feels exhausting.

You might tone down your enthusiasm when a favorite game comes up, rehearse what to say around other people, or worry that sharing too much will make you seem strange. It can be lonely to want connection while holding back so much of yourself.

I’m a Certified Geek Therapist. I work with adults who want to talk about belonging, identity, relationships, and experiences that still affect them. The games, stories, and communities that matter to you are welcome here.

Games, stories, or roleplay are optional.

Your Interests Belong in the Conversation

A character may give you words for something that’s hard to explain. A fandom might be where you’ve found friendship or felt most like yourself.

We’ll start with what brings you to therapy and what you’d like to change. You can choose how much your interests enter the work. We can talk directly about what’s happening in your life and decide together whether a creative approach fits.

What We Can Work On

Feeling Like Yourself

Explore where you hold back, what helps you feel at ease, and what feels safe to share. You can decide which parts of yourself you want others to know.

Belonging and Relationships

Talk through feeling left out, misunderstandings, boundaries, and the effort it takes to stay connected.

Experiences That Keep Showing Up

Make room to talk about hurt, shame, or self-doubt that still affects how you see yourself and relate to other people.

Your interests can be part of how you talk about your experiences and what you want to change.

Questions You May Have

Do I need a diagnosis or have to be a gamer to contact you?

No. You can ask about therapy whether or not you have a diagnosis or identify as neurodivergent or geeky. Tell me what you would like help with so we can consider whether working together is a good fit.

What happens when I join the waitlist?

I’ll reach out to arrange an initial consultation call. We’ll talk about what you’re looking for, whether we might be a good fit, and my upcoming availability. From there, I can give you an estimated timeframe for starting or offer referrals if another option would better meet your needs.

Will we play games in every session?

No. Games, stories, or roleplay are optional ways to explore something when they feel useful. We can spend a session talking about your life without bringing them in.

Can I see you specifically for EMDR?

Yes. You can seek EMDR here whether or not you identify as neurodivergent or geeky. Visit the EMDR Therapy page to learn more.
